This indie-folk band consists of six friends from the south of Italy. They are considered one of the most innovative bands on the Italian world music scene, which refreshed traditional Italian music with a combination of electronic music, hypnotic rhythms, original melodies and folk elements. He achieves this with numerous instruments, from bagpipes, flutes, Italian accordion (organetto), various percussion instruments to electric bass guitar and interesting vocals.
The performance of the band Kalascima was realized with the support of the Italian Institute for Culture in Zagreb and Ministry of Culture and Media.
