The concept of the exhibition unites two seemingly contradictory artistic expressions in an innovative way. On one side, the sculptures of horses executed in the classical art technique of cast bronze or hewn wood, by the established sculptor and professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Vladimir Gašparić Gapa, are exhibited.
The other side is represented by multimedia artists and professors from the University of the North, Robert Geček and Mario Periša. Their audio-
visual content contributes to interactivity and completeness of perceptual pleasure. Horses stand out as the dominant motif of the exhibition, whose symbolic power goes beyond the animal one. While the first, multi-media part of the exhibition refers to cave painting and questions the boundary of the beginning of the history of art, the second gives a brief overview of contemporary Croatian sculpture. The author of the curatorial concept is Klara Macolić Kuparić.
