When night falls, the stages come to life. The music programme complements the rich festival volume perfectly and gives it an even bigger rate of attractiveness and appeal.
The main festival ‘PAN’ stage by the Old Town is the centre of musical experience. An even more comfortable and private atmosphere is given by the stage next to the Bedeković Villa, for many the most beautiful concert stage in Croatia.
Along with the two main stages, music resounds from small stages, streets and squares from every corner of the city centre.
To perform at Špancirfest is to many Croatian performers a matter of prestige and a proof of success and popularity with the audience. If you add to that a few world-class music stars and collaborations that may seem incompatible at first, it is clear that the festival also shifts boundaries of music programmes as well.
